The case of my terrapin's vomitting of blood has been solved. It's a good thing that my sister worked in a research company, because they keep animals for their experiments and a vet is hired to do a health check on them once in awhile. The cause of the vomitting is the food that remains undigested in my terrapin's stomach. Since turtles are cold blooded animals, they are required to bask in the sun to increases their temperature. I always keep mine in a huge box, unable to bath in the sunlight. Thus the food is not properly digested and it begins to rot in the stomach, resulting in the injury of the stomach and vomitting of blood.

Somehow I felt guilty for this. So the cure that the vet suggested is to starve my terrapin for 3 days. After which, we are to feed only vegetables and shells of shrimps. My poor terrapin must been having a hell of a stomachache for the past few weeks.
